There we have it everything i was saying months ago about xbox 360 not having hard drive and having texture problems has come to light !

Ps3 requirs a 3.6gig download to hard drive first time playing but thats where the textures lie.

everything i said about textures needing to be stored.... well here we have it iv seen both these consols side by side now this morning with mine and my cuz's xbox.

The colours are slightly better on xbox 360 and they do have download contect if you ever want that but thats where the advantages end. When you get into a high speed chase we get the problem which we had on san andreas where textures appear out of no where on xbox 360, this was a sad problem to see but very predicatble.

The textures of buildings look far more realistic on the ps3 than on the xbox 360. Loading times on the ps3 are also alot quicker... and far fewer of them. this is due to the hard drive i guess since most other games the ps3 is only slightly faster.

Playing online with the ps3 is FREE! with the xbox you have to be a subscriber to play online...... money money money

You get download content on gta 4 with the xbox as i agree with sony directors, it takes long enough to finish the game let alone get more... and is it worth the 100's of millions of dollars they paid for it... xbox have lost alot of money because of these things so i hope you xbox fans can put up with the not so good graphics lol

I think it was diablo i was having a argument with so if he could post back please when hes seen them side by side himself that would be great.

Oh hey this pole smoker again. I don't really post here any more because its full of raving faggots like yourself but I was hoping you'd make a tit of yourself with one of these threads. So, first things first:

The installs are generally considered to be a bad thing, regardless of the benefits they give. The majority of PS3 owners are annoyed at the number of games requiring installs these days, and if anything, its a sign of one of the systems flaws, not one of its strengths. Installs are for PCs, not for consoles.

Next we have the resolution that the games are running at. The PS3 version only runs at 630p, whereas the 360 version runs at the proper 720p. This has meant a few nice effects that the 360 version lacks and better colours, but also means the PS3 version has a big jaggie problem. The lower resolution is obviously to compensate for a lack of power in the RSX, and so allows for higher frame rates. Despite that, the PS3 version still suffers from significant slow down in some of the "busier" moments in the game.

Theres also no AA on the PS3 version, whereas there obviously is on the 360 version.

And lets not forget that the 360 version still has exclusivity for all the DLC, and they don't need to buy a new controller just to have the rumble feature enabled. Which is made even worse by the fact that the SIXAXIS controlls are ****ing shite again.

I just thought I would add on the end, that arguing this is pointless as this is a phenominal game regardless of what console you play it on. I have it for PS3 and I'm ****ing over the moon with it. Best game I've bought since Mario Kart Wii...which I bought a couple of weeks ago :p

Just wait all the comparisons are coming out at least you got it on the right platform. just little things make the diffrence.. Such as being able to watch the tv close up which you cant do on 360 and things like the frame rate lags on 360.

But the game is amazing but im rather disapointed with graphics on both systems. they try to blurr the graphics in the distance.. to make it look realistic and cut down on power by not showing actualy refined textures. i was told that this game was gonna be better than i could imagine by xbox fans and im very disapointed with the graphics of buildings in the distance.

But i was very impressed when was in helicoper at top of city and could see the whole map looked very good and the central new york bit thats also stunning.

Anyone everyone knows that download content is gonna be like half life 2 episodes.... extra bucks. just extra missions that everyone jsut wants to complete in the first place. then you start getting dirty rich.

TBH i dont want the extra content if its gonna be exclusive for any consol includeing ps3.. i want to get so many games i dont need expansions.
Expansions for me have usaly been a let down, such as statagy games where they put insain units in so you can end the game in minutes... its gay.

Happy fragging online since it aint costing us a penny and its lag free of course since we use central servers, the way pc figured out was the best way years ago.

PS: Installs are for fast access with a sata hard drive... things you need like traffic signs so you can see them before you hit them. Autorun is oldfashioned... thats y we had so many problems with san andreas and gta4 on 360. Just look at around at all the sites ... i dont see many xbox sites saying anything really... just comparison websites that are saying preformance wise they would pic the ps3 anyday. content wise they would pick the 360

lol trying to say the microsoft having DLC isnt a bonus because "it takes long enough to finish the game with the normal stuff is bull" If sony had the DLC and 360 didnt then i bet sony wouldnt think it was a big deal. And were are you getting these fact from mate. You need to link something.

Most facts are what iv seen my self with them side by side both on same tv Picture in picture. and swapped over to make sure it wasnt just the connection. the frame rates are from sites like gamespot where reporters tryed the game and run tests on it such as fps.

The all pritty much say same thing, ps3 version is better because things dont appear out of no where and things like walls and windows look better. This dosnt mean ps3 dosnt have the problem cuz it does but hardly see it. With 360 your racing ur car then there is a flash in th top left where a wall or sign just appeared... it puts you off makes you think there is something coming at you.

I decided not to link to anything because all the reports are already coming out and streaming out just google for comparison... or if you havnt seen it ur self go to youtube they might have videos on there by now.

The fact of the matter is the more data the better the game its always been the case... if you put San andreas on cd instead of dvd that would be the same affect as this... you would have to compress it so much you would loose things.

Its just basic understanding and all the reporters and research firms that have put hours into studying to to give you the answer to the endless war.... still no winner in the war but the ps3 has the edge on gta 4.

But i have always said gta 4 would be the start... lets see if this is the 4th thing out of 4 that coems true such as blu-ray and the textures being better on gta 4 due to dvd v's blu-ray alone !.

Simple fact is the next title will be alot better on ps3 because they had developed the tennis game for 360 and know how the 360 worked.... they didnt for the ps3 so they had to learn.... this is first game they did for ps3 and it came out better... dosnt sound right does it.

Simple fact is xbox ****ed it up by releasing a core version and not adapting to blu-ray... cuz download content cant be the future cuz you cant forget about core xbox fans with no hard drive. thats leaving your customers in the middle of no where.

Conclusion is.
Ps3 lost the short term. This is the long term from 29th onwards... ps3 was always going to win this. experts and noobs like myself predicted this end of this year or biggining of next. its was so easy to see like the blu-ray ... more data is always the future so more storage is 2.

PS Im always looking forward to the first 50gig and 1tb game.... with the amount of work tey could actualy put in instead of leaving out will be amazing.. multiple blu-ray games the future for pc... who knows i cant really see it moving there but i guess it must ... there is no other way forward.
ISP's cannot handle people downloading 1080p films and 20 gig games over the internet... there would be so much traffic in this country. maybe they would have to give downloads its own subnet.

I agree with Diablo this is a phenomenal game,regardless what console you get it on.Though I must say I respect people who get it on the Playstation3 more for obvious reasons.The Playstation3 version is capable of going up to 1080p and so is the 360,so wtf you two were talking about...I don't know.
The Downloadable Content is a plus for 360 owners,but then again that's more money from their wallet,and with Microsoft already charging them for a shitload it's a wonder to me while people still hold the Suicidal Breezeblock in such high regard.

It's depressing to see such a lareg number of people consistently start these arguments on trivial things,when I say that the Playstation3 is better,I say it for exclusives,which are far superior to the Suicidal Breezeblocks,not for a game that's on both platforms.

Indeed the Playstation3 is free with it's online,so I will be having fun on that once I have mastered the game a bit more^_^
