GTA4 would be the obvious choice. I guess you could try Warhawk, which is an arcade flight shooter that's only online, but a blast to play online.

yea i no gta 4 is obvious but i played it on a buddy's system an didnt really like it....but would u recommend Haze ,Unreal Tournament III or somthing like that?

u dont seem like the fantasy/adventure type (however if u were i would recommend oblivion the elder scrolls) so instead i would recommend haze.

see i played oblivion an its not for me but there is only a couple things stopping me from getting haze and thats the length of the game and the reply value so.....

Haze has really gotten bashed in reviews. You could download the demo on PSN and see for yourself, and note that the game allegedly gets worse from there.
I just noticed you don't have Resistance, and are looking for a shooter since you asked about Haze. I would seriously recommend Resistance. Resistance 2 is coming out this Fall/Winter and you should play the first to get in touch with the story. It's a great game too, a very unique, throwback gameplay. No cover system, no auto healing like Gears of War, Halo, CoD, etc. You shoot tons of enemies and use tons of ammo, and it has really inventive weapons.
The best part is you should be able to pick up Resistance for like $30 since it was a launch title and thus is really old.

i agree with Triple6ix but if u are willing to wait i saw ur thread on final fantasy 13 and know that that is coming out at winter/(winterish) sounds like a bad@$$ game even if it isnt exclusive anymore

i already played resistance an i cant wait for resistance 2 to come out an i considered battlefield bad company but ive been thinking so much about getting haze that i forget about it so i think i wil get that one or something old like heavenly sword or ratchet an clanket has neone played those to game

Dont get a ratchet and clank game... terrible games i have to say.
I dont really see a VALID story line to it, and everything in it is totally, uninventive in my perspective.
I'd go with Battlefield: Bad Company, or Resistence: FOM

well a nice fast paced shooter with multiple game modes(both online and in campaign) would be Unreal Tournament III! It might not be everyones choice but the graphics are great, really fun to play with friends if you do have them over, and you can customize your player for online.

looks like you like shooters. but if you feel like switching it up for a slasher, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is pretty good. it's a little short, but you can play through multiple times.
