Here's a new gameplay trailer for LittleBigPlanet. Released by Sony, this new video seems to include a developer commentary too.

This is my most-anticipated game of the year; it looks GREAT! Only about 6 & 1/2 weeks to go 'til it comes out - but it still seems like forever.

I intend to flood my friends with a ridiculous amount of LittleBigPlanet levels; long live platforming goodness!

Hopefully i can find a pre-order that offers a free LBP soft toy

I've been curious to see what kind of other pre-order offers are out there. I know that you can get a Kratos in-game costume from GameStop (which looks cool) and a Nariko in-game costume from Best Buy (less cool, but I DO want the Heavenly Sword), and I think somebody was doing some sort of "burlap bag" thing, but if I can find a store that's doing a Sackboy plush, I'll take that one.

Of course, I'll just end up buying a Sackboy plush anyways - he's too cute not too.

Better too picky than not picky enough. I'm sure there will be plenty of people who just put out some super-lame level that they only spent 15 minutes designing, but it's those levels that you spend days and even weeks creating that are usually the best ones. I'm the same way; I'll fuss over the tiniest stuff for HOURS, just trying to get it the exact way I want it - that's why a game like LittleBigPlanet is perfect for my inner perfectionist.

It might very well end up being exactly that. Sony is already talking about using Sackboy as their new mascot, and the hype level is huge; if the game delivers on its promise, it could be one of the biggest games in years. And from everything I've heard from people who got into the beta, it's even BETTER than you've heard - it's one of those games that you just can't stop playing.

I can't wait!
