Just try moving as fast as possible if soldier and then aim for headshots. Also I always use grenades in CQC, but there is a huge risk you may blow up your self of coarse.

dude exactly what crash1202 said never stop moving around unless you are sniping of course, and aim for head shots, also always try and have a shotgun on you so when you get close enough just whip the shotgun out and fire away. Practice on teamdeath match first and then move then move to deathmatch, so you get use to it.
Thanks for the tips! I just have to work on getting better at head shots. I really hate it when I trying to get the shot and I mistakenly hit the R3 for a distance shot. That really pisses me off cause it usually gets me killed.
I was wondering about resistance... im not too into the shooting games and war stuff like that but ive heard nothing but good things from this game, and online is where its at, and online is basically all i wanna do. So would u still suggest the game to me? and is the story mode still good or just the online? cuz i heard the 2player is kinda bad but everything else about it is insane!!
RFOM is by far my favorite game on the PS3 and I would recommend it to anyone. I enjoy all aspects of the game and have not had reason to complain yet. I know some other really good shooters are around the corner but if you don't want to have to wait a few months I think the game is by far worth the money.

So I just started playing online and my resistance profile wont say I have played any rounds or gained any XP. I play ranked games and it saves my headshots, multiple kills, etc. but no skill level stuff. Anyone know whats up?
