saints row for ps3??
It was annouced yesterday that THQ will release saints row for playstation 3 this spring. I personally am not a fan of the game but because of the success its had and the now popular "open world online" i guess they thought they expand there fans by putting it on the playstation. Oh well.

Hmmm that game looks alright. I saw online that you get shot out of your car when you crash is this true?

yes its true when you crash you get shot out your car,if the crash is bad enough,plus the storyline is prettygood,sure its not going to rival gta 4 butthe side missions are a laugh, ( protecting drug dealers when there making there deliveries from police and rival gang members,insurance fraud,hitman jobs,that will take you a while to do,and chop shop activities,basically you steal cars and take em back to the dealer...harder then it sounds.)it also has a create your character,you can everything ( apart from sex ) from his race to the height of his forhead.its a bloody excellent game

i got to say but thq are pissing in the wind, thinking that its going to be a sucess on the playstation 3. With grand theft auto 4 around the corner whatever.

well to be fair you gotta see it from there ( thq) point of view,gta 4 isnt out for another 6 months or so,and they know if sainst row is released on the ps3 that people will buy it ,its just another way to make more money,but its still a great game

yay..........................do you think they will change anything in the game? or will it be exactly the same? =/
or what about the graphics? will they be the same? and what about the draw distance problems? will they be sorted?

its more then likely that it will be a direct port,personally i didnt think the draw distances were to bad on the 360,if you already have that copy,then getting it again for the ps3 is utterly pointless

Might be a consideration to tide people other until GTA4, but then again if Sony decide to improve the compatibility with the PS2 GTA games then that would do for me.

I heard about this game being released for PS3 the other day.
...on this forum I think, lol.
I played it once on my mates 360, some online deathmatch I think it was?
Still, I am just going to wait until GTAIV is released. Especcialy after the trailer, should be good!

I'm glad they're releasing this on PS3 as well. I read the reviews when it first came out on X360 and it seemed like something I could surely enjoy.
I just hope with fingers crossed we won't have any kind of issues with this; after all, it's still a port. Let's not forget Splinter Cell Double Agent for PS3, the framerate is worse than it's X360 counterpart (at least on single player).

Dude I love Saint's Row. I could just sit there and play the game for hours just driving around. If it came to PS3, I'd hope it to be better than 360's!

yeah that game looks brilliant on 360!
So grahically it should be good!
Open ended multiplayer! AWESOME!!

I can't wait to get my PS3. My bro has one and I have to wait for summer, but once I get it, Linux will be my OS!
