Wireless keyboard with PS3

Does anybody know if I can hook a wireless keyboard up to my PS3 with a bluetooth usb dongle?

I'm in Europe so I'm still waiting on the console, but one thing I do know is that the keyboard for my PC has a really short wire - way too short for using with my PS3. I'm planning on getting a wireless keyboard which has a bluetooth usb stick that connects right into a usb port. I know the ps3 has multiple usb ports so in theory this should work, right? Has anybody done this with their console?

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Yes it should since I'm using a Logitech wireless. It's not bluetooth, but as long as you have a USB dongle, then it shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks. Actually I just found a wireless Logitech keyboard online which is specifically for Playstation 3 so I'm gonna go ahead and buy that one.

if you have the logitech dinovo bluetooth series I have both edge and laser it will work flawlessly. However you will need to press the conect button do so and this will disconeect i from the pc. The dinovo will work fine except the other keys wont function sycj=h as the media keys. But I am not sure about the function keys asI have no opprotunity to try it.

Umm I dunno but I have had worked the whole dinovo laser and the edge but if you have keyboards the other might suddenly be disconnected. Btw I think a bt headset works as I made my nokia and jabra work along with the other bt. The wifi kinda suffers as a result.

Yes, I'm not sure how many you can use, but the PS3 does support seven Sixaxis together so I would assume it's around that number.
