Its on its way (help!!!)

So my PS3 is on its way and I'm either gonna get motorstorm or resistance...or maybe both who knows.

Does the PS3 only come with an HDMI cable or does it also rock your socks with a component cable?

Congrats on your PS3! Unfortunately, it does not come with either cable, at least that was the case for the US PS3s, it came with a puny composite AV cable, and you have to buy the component or HDMI cables if you wish to play in HD. By the way, HDMI is better than Component, so HDMI is actually the interface that will rock your socks.

The quality would depend on your television. If your TV is capable of running 1080p at well over 40" then HDMI will rock your world. Anything less, component will be just as good as HDMI.

I wont have an TV with an HDMI connector till April and then I'll get an HDMI cable. It will only be around 26" and 720p but that would free up the composite cables for my 360...right?

Yes, you should be able to switch between composite and HDMI signals using your TV.
