Right 1st post, so I'm a newbie and this may well have been asked before...
Was wanting to view files from my PC on the PS3. Haven't got my wifi set up yet so was going to use my USB memory stick. However, when I pop it in the USB port of the PS3, it finds the stick itself, but can't see the files on it.
The stick itself works fine and I've been using it for ages on my own PC and my Dad's Mac and no problems. Also, just for the sake of it, I tried the Memory Stick from my Sony Ericsson w810. It saw the photo's fine, even though they were in a folder, but couldn't see the music or videos.
Downloaded the software update onto the USB stick to see if the PS3 would see it, but it didn't.
Am kinda worried I'm gonna have to take it back or is there some kind of big compatibility issue with storage devices, etc?
Either way, would be most grateful for any advice put forward
Oh yeah, and apart from the above, it works fine in terms of games/dvd's and the like.
