S-Video

Strangely, my new Toshiba HDTV 42" does not have an S-video port

seeing as I have got my pc to connect and even my ps3 since i have an s-video cable for it atm and not hdmi yet, i was wondering if this means i cannot use s-video for this tv or whether some sort of adapter would do?

I find it strange that there is no s-video port, so was wondering anyone could clarify the situation? would love a cheap and simple adapter as a resolution, but maybe not? if anyone knows anything constructive, please let me know ASAP!

thanks, tc47!

You want your computer to output to your TV? I'm not sure if your TV supports it. The ones that do usually have VGA or DVI ports. Or perhaps you can get a video card with HDMI output.

Get a DVI to HDMI cable to connect your computer to the TV, the quality of the image will look so much better... Since HDMI interface can retain true sRGB colorspace.
