usb speakers for ps3???
Hi,

Can a set of usb speakers be used with ps3 to get sound? would the usb allow for sound without any external sound input( ie a lead from a sound card( ps3) to the speakers ).

Highly doubt it... I don't think the PS3 XMB is capable of outputing audio through USB, and even if it does, I doubt the manufacturer of the speakers has a USB driver for the PS3 XMB OS. Now if you are running Linux on the PS3, you might have a better chance to get it working...
