pairing a psp with a ps3...
Hi guys,
I just wondered if anyone else has had trouble getting their psp to pair with their ps3?
Granted i have lost the usb cable for my psp so have been trying to use the usb charge cable for the ps3's controler. its looks to be the same cable. that said do you think it would make a diffrence? maybes i should falk out for a new psp usb cable just incase.
Basically i plug it into the ps3 and goto remote play. but when the ps3 trys to connect it says no psp is connected. the only think i can think of is the cable issue.

The USB that comes with the PS3 controller will work with the PSP. For Remote Play, you need to use WiFi. It's not Remote Play if you're wired to the PS3 so it doesn't support the USB connection. You setup your 60 GB PS3 as a hotspot and then you use your PSP to connect to it via Remote Play. With the 1.6 firmware, you can connect to your PS3 via the internet from your PSP so it opens up Remote Play to the 20 GB as well.
