wireless connection through airport

Hi!

I've been trying to connect my PS 3 to internet using wifi. No way as it keep saying DNS error 80710102. It works well using ethernet.

I'll appreciate some help. Thank you.

Both the ethernet connection and the WiFi connection are coming from the same router? Try to manually assign the PS3 an IP address and manually define the DNS server IPs.

Hi Hondan,

Thanks for your reply. Yes they come from the same router: a apple airport base station. So the Ip is solved and comes from the error that is common to lots of people, but no solutions seems available ( I spent days in internet looking for tips, but...nothing).

Regards,

Jorge

It might be your security. If you have MAC address filtering, enable the PS3's. You might want to double check your encryption as well.
