Not bad, but I'd want to see it actually on before I bought it. There's a lot of cheap supposedly HD TV's out there, but the actual picture's rubbish.

The DIY place I work for were selling a Goodman's 28" LCD HD ready TV and the picture was worse than almost any TV I'd ever seen. It was seriously terrible.

Of course, this may be the exception, but as with most electronic goods, if you can, try before you buy.

I understand your concern, But i'm not really worried as i know Argos suppply decent HDTV's as i have one in my room (19'') and it's very good and very cheap...i think your really trying to say ''because it's not a well known brand, i wouldn't think it's got a decent picture...and the price is pretty cheap also'' lol

Also, the only place to see the TV in action befor purchase is probably Currys....as with argos, i phone up, place my order and then go pick it up....

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a person to just throw money away on something because it has a brand name attached. Wharfedale is a known make, but I'd look at reviews on the net and the like to get an impression of it. I'm also sure there's tv/video mags that do reviews of budget tv's as well as the expensive stuff.

Basically, if you can't get a hands on trial of it, try and look into what other people think of the brand. It's good to get a second opinion on it before you buy it, as I'm guessing you wouldn't want to get something that'll disappoint.
