Hi all,

I am thinking of buying a PS3 from the US as it's £200 cheaper over there.

Do you think it's worth it? Will i have any compatability problems with leads/blue ray/games?

Bargain as long as you dont get charged the extra from customs.If you dont pay the customs charge you dont get your goods,at least thats how it works if i order stuff for my motorcycle from the states.I`ve only been caught out once,my mate got stung for nearly £100.00,it still worked out cheaper but not by much and certainly wasnt worth the agro.
There will be somebody else on here who can give you more info.If it breaks down where do you send it back to?

If you're going to import, the HK PS3 is over $100 cheaper than the US version.

If you import, you won't be able to play your BD and DVD movies or PS2 and PSone games. That basically makes up of half of the PS3's features. On the other hand, the BC for European PS2 and PSone games is limited so it's not like you'd be able to play all of your games either way.
