Hey,

I was just moving my PS3 just a minute a go and then I heard like this 'bzzzz' sound.

The power light was flashing on and off, and I noticed that it was the power cable at the back of the PS3.

I was fiddling round with it, but it was still 'bzzziing' so I turned the mains power off.

I am going to ring up GAME tomoro. I am sure it is just the cable, and not the console itself (as it works fine when on). I have a warranty anyway.

Anyone else had this problem? For £425 they sure could do with supplying a decent lead!

What did you do? I guess you can try using the PS2 cable for now. I think it's the same thing...

The PS3 power lead and the PS2 power lead are tottaly different.

I think you are on about the composite leads = there the same.

Anyways, I havent done anything to it.

It was just sort of loose, and when I was pushing it in again it was like 'bzzzz'

EDIT: Never mind, it's all done now. I took the PS3 to game, and it was just me not plugging the cable in tight enough!

Better safe than sorry though :p
