Ad hoc wireless internet?

Like some other user on this forum I've been trying to connect my PS3 to PC's wireless card but failed. Got PS to static IP, subnet, wrote PC's SSID but it won't connect. Dunno what to type in primary/secondary DNS and router field. So can it be done at all or the only option is to get a real AP?

Well you see... You must think "outside" of the "box" - Meaning look inside yourself, you just might find what your looking for.
