help with ps3 home cinema
ive just purchased a ps3, i allready have a panasonis hdtv and sony home theatre kit. i cant seem to find out how to run my games or blu rays through my home theatre. there are no spare sockets on the back of the home theatre amp, i have the tv connected to the amp via hdmi, and the ps3 to the tv via hdmi.
can any one help?

well what i did was use the hdmi lead for the picture and used the lead that came with the ps3 for sound. plug it in the ps3 then plug the red and white parts of the lead into the amp, you should have a read and white audio input bit on the amp. it works fine for me!! dont forget to go in to sound settings and change it to the leads your using!! hope this helps

ive checked my amp and there are no other inputs, or outputs, there was one hdmi socket (connected to tv) six sockets individually labled for each speaker and a portable audio device input and thats it.

sounds like your sounds system f'ed up i have mine set for doby 5.1 and it works great but i use the fiber op. srry i gusse make sure your tv forwards the sound to the system

Has your surround sound got an optical input? That is the best way to sort the sound for PS3.
