I dont think this will work m8, if Im right in thinking its a laptop your trying to hook it up to I wouldnt bother for 14-15" screen, even if it does work dont think it would be great.
As for a CRT monitor link up Iv tried everywhere to get a VGA cable and no-one knows nothing, Im sure sony have a secret mission not to help me in this matter!
Well i got a 17" screen :P but my laptop (Sony AR-170P) can come with a tv tuner and the screen is full hd 1080. it also has a LCD only button, LCD with TV and TV(video) option....when i turn the screen to the tv(video), its just black, no sound nor video.
i mean, my laptop resolution is 1680 by 1050 and the difference between that and a standard 1024 resolution (or a 1024 widesrceen equivilent) is huge. in games, movies everything...
it most likely is possible but will require a lot of knowledge with computer hardware etc.
and you'll probs have to dismantle your laptop so it aint really worth it...
i play CS and other games just fine on my 17" laptop. HD on a smaller screen will probably look better anyways. we wont be able to pick out the tiny tiny flaws in games.
I agree that games look better on small screens, by this I mean the graphics looks smoother less jagged, but not how a hardcore gamer likes to play, I play on 19" and thats perfect for me, but I know alot of people will cringe at the thought its just your preference at end of the day.
But I really cant see this hooking up to the laptop being an option mate, Id just forget about it.
i don't see any problem with gaming on small screens. my laptop has a 17'' screen and i use FS9 just fine...........but i wouldn't go any smaller than 19'' for console gaming.
Ya 17" isn't really that bad. I play my 360 on my 17" monitor since I prefer to game in my room and the TV in my room is a shitty 27" SDTV. I would much rather take quality over quantity in a TV. The only thing I don't like about playing it on my monitor is that I have to sit at a desk, thats why I'm getting a 27" HDTV when I get my PS3.
