Alright, this is the situation. This is to do with getting the information off my PS2 memory cards and onto my PS3. However! It needs to run through my laptop first so i know where to save and send it. Now, i need to know if anyone has ever, for any reason successfully connected their PS2 to their computer? Or, if anyone knows of a way to network the two so that i can see the memory cards as a seperate folder. As soon as i find out how the hell to connect the PS2 to my laptop and successfully view the memory card, ill be able to move it to the laptop and save it to an external HDD then transfer it to the PS3.

So, anyone able to help out? Ive tried basic networking, but i cant remember the Command Prompt Protocols to get inside the other system.

Also, there is a good chance the ethernet adapter shat itself.

Sorry but i dont kwon about laptops just buy the data max form datel
It allows you to connect the memory card(8MB limit) to the pc or the ps3

I migt buy it later. but for the time being i want to do it the hard way.
