mod chip for ps3
hey does anybody know anything about a mod chip for the ps3 its supposed to open the ps3 up so it will be region free cause i got a japanese ps3 and i heard that they have a chip for that.

no need for a modchip
i have a US game, and it plays nicely.
dvd's that's something else

yeah but its kinda messed up to have to go in my room to play my ps2 just to watch dvds and play my ps2 games. i got it on a 30 something inch where its a lil hard to see people on battlefield and then i got a 51 for the ps3.

i got it top play ps3 games and blue ray not ps2 and ps1 games. if that was the case i wouldnt have bought it.

hey, are you serious, i mean can the ps3 be flashed?... its just that i also have a JPN version ps3 but it comes up black and white on my pal tv set... a firmware flash sounds pretty kewl!
