i heard from here that the playstation 3 can go up to 4 conellers(sorry about my spelling im not good at it), and i heard from here the the ps3 can be made like a wii with your coneller and you don't have to push any buttons at all on your ps3 coneller.
Actually you can connect up to 7 controllers on the PS3 and yes there is also motion sensitivity. Not quite as advanced as the Wii but it's still pretty good depending on what game you're playing. Motorstorm, for example, works quite well by tilting the controller you can steer your vehicle.
