SAMSUNG is okay but as long as LCD television is concerned, I would unhesitatingly go for a "SHARP Aquos", "SONY Bavaria" would be my second choice tho.
The only product of SAMSUNG I would consider buying is its mobile/cell phone.
Back to topic.
If you don't have a very tight budget, I would recommend the BenQ FP241W (don't sure how it would be named in Europe, but should be similar) which has everything a DELL owns and plus it has an HDMI input.
However I've heard that this monitor is very expensive, about 30% more than a Dell 2407WFP which I currently use and am pretty much satisfied with. Make sure it's a Version A04 because only the A04 supports 1:1 pixel to pixel mapping.
