RAM Memory
Does anyone know if its possible to increase the memory of the PS3?

I'm actually interested in High Performance Computing and would need at least 4GB of RAM, i.e. much more than it comes with.

I noticed Elpida are probably making the Rambus memory, but do you know if there will be additional memory slots in the PS3 to allow it to be beefed up?

no i dont think you can upgrade the memory for the playstation3
