Had enough...selling my PS3!
The amount and quality of games is ridiculous.....getting sick of playing 360 ports, graphically this 'powerful' machine is shite....the PS3 will die a slow death- developers are not interested in it.

Yea i think you should wait a little more because all the great games start coming out september and beyond. Also ubisoft is the one making the shite ports.

I cant understand being pissed about the playstation at the moment as i pretty disapointed with it as well. But id give it to the end of the year before you sell it. If it doesnt pick up by the end of the year and show me why i spent all this money for then i will proberly get a 360 as well. Just hold of a little longer.

Well I really can't see what is so wrong with PS3. I really can't. About a month ago I was pretty disappointed with the UK Store and severe lack of content but over recent weeks it's really come along. For the last 3 or 4 weeks there's been at least one game worth buying each week. I recently purchased classics like MK II and Rampart, as well as games such as Go! Puzzle. Last week I got Calling all Cars and this week I got Super Stardust HD. Ok so you might argue that people don't buy a PS3 to play remakes of games and retro games such as Rampart, but my point is that Sony are offering a truly well rounded selection of games that appeal to people of all ages. They are good for long sessions or just a quick blast, and are a great distraction until the big games come out in September. I don't mind waiting because I know they are on their way, and, apart from the odd sub-standard 360 port (R6 Vegas, yes, I'm looking at you), they are all looking like being quality. Also don't forget that Sony launched the PS3 at a time when, traditionally, not many games are released, but the games that are out there a true quality. Look what we have, Resistance, Motorstorm, Oblivion, VF5 and others. In addition to the numerous Store content it's really not bad for a 3 month old console.
Just sit tight and hold your horses, the games are coming
P.S. Calling all Cars and Super Stardust HD are easily worth £5 of anyone's money. SS HD is truly addictive.

again well put, ScootaKuH some people just dont have the understanding and want to jump to conclusions theres alot of them on this forum , but at least theres people with the right info to set them straight

Trouble is people are spoilt these days. People want everything and they want it now. People hate waiting for things. This also applies to people that complain about delays. It's always happened and it always will. The gaming industry is hard and things do not always go as planned. I remember back in the days of the SNES I was a huge Earthworm Jim fan and if I remember right EWJ 2 was delayed time and time again. It seemed like I was waiting forever for this game to come out. My point is delays are nothing new, so please stop going on about how bad it is that everything's getting delayed. This is especially relevant with PS3 because it's brand new hardware and developers are sometimes a bit too optimistic with regards to release dates. It will improve as they gain experience. People just have to be patient, that's all.

yep its good to be patient. also true we will be seeing amazing games as the developers gain the experience just have to be patient. man i rather a game be pushed back a bit than release on time with issues, but then theres the PS store and other updates that can fix the issue.

Think of the future!
Warhawk, LAIR, Assassin's Creed, Heavenly Sword, Folklore etc etc.
There are many more, I'm sure. At the moment, I am a little disappointed too, and I kind of wish I waited until later in the year to purchase the console (actually, no I don't. Because the Wii would have less trade in value!)
Anyways, if you sell it, it's your loss.
