Aight well as everyone nos games jumped from 50 to 60$ for the ps3 and 360 how much does it really cost to make a game i mean just copying data onto the disc itself wouldnt cost that much to do if any and i mean how much are we idk how to put this getting ripped off on i guess u could say any thoughts?

actually PS3/360 games are mostly £40..but some are priced at 50...........

thats why i buy pre owned! ****ing cheaper!

yea btu sumtimes pre owned games are only like 5 dollars less and even if theer is like a 20 drop they can sumtimes be all scratched and u gotta take em back to the store and its kinda a pia

well so far all my pre owned games have been fine, and they are a tenner less..which is pretty cool. i got project8 for £27 actually =] which is very cheap

It's not really that expensive if u think how much it costs to produce the game, the cost to disk is almost nothing. When u buy a game you are paying for labour costs,
A Game probably takes 10-24 Months to produce, a programmer gets over £30,000 a year, i guess there are many teams of programmers, then you've got all the concept art drawings many more $$$
So its like ten million pounds to produce a game and these companies have to make a profit. they only make a profit after selling like millions of copies.

But why do we pay twice as much in Europe compaired to the US and Asia?

btw rates are (Edited Rates, as they were incorrect and they will be easier to understand for americans

No its worth less, since €1 is worth $1.38,

You need more $ to equal a € means it is worth less
but
so If you need less € to equal a $ it is worth more

lol i take a pound over to florida, i exchange it and i find myself another pound richer..it's like my money just doubles..

it's a bit silly really.
