It’s faster than my computer. Some what like a super computer thingy. =). One question though. Will the console heat up fast? Since the specs seem to be like a super computer the heating capability of this is high. I hope the cooling system of this device is that good?

Don't worry about the system overheating, it shouldn't be XBox all over again, but watch out for the discs, its more faster and powerful than 360 so the CDs will be hotter than the 360's (which are pretty hot) and with Blu-Ray, yah.
Anyone else hear about that like, you buy the game then you like download it on to the system?
And what happened to Sony's no used game thing and like serial codes to prevent you from playing it on other PS3's to make no used games. No news?

I never heard that the Xbox had that kind of a problem. Anyway Xbox console was not a hit here in our country. Many people are currently still waiting for some patches to come out. Probably since there are still considered a newbie in the console arena.

Well, 360 is having problems right now, I know 2 people who own a 360 that broke. But I was talking about the first shipments of the XBox 1. There were a lot of cases of it over-heating then just not working.

360 is sh** compared with the PS3 and Wii, its really bad quality and anyway, the PS3 I'm sure will not overheat, the fans that are inside will keep it really fresh.

As far from what you have told me here. This proves that Microsoft really launches products that are not bug proof. I have experienced it in Windows and other software. It seems to be a trademark now. That why people are cautious on buying Microsoft hardwares. I hope they fix their image.

I think 360 knew it couldnt stand up to ps3 even with its lower price so it rushed it out.

Oh no! I hope it does not overheat - guess who has one of those Dell laptops with the dodgy batteries that can expload at any minute! The specification looks great though with a whopping 60GB hard drive.

There is obviously a fine balance between what the software can do, and what the hardware can cope with. Hats off to Sony for pushing it to the edge, but I hope these potential problems are not serious.

The over heating thing is fine. Developers claim the PS3 next to silent and no overheating problems. The problem with MS is that Gates is too busy caring about money than to put quality consoles on the market.
Dead Rising is causing a very high failure rate among 360's because of a overheating issue. Sometimes after you download, say, a game demo, it freezes, turns itself off and won't turn on again. Can't be fixed (a bit like the Dead Pixels for PSP but i havent had any yet) and you have to buy a new one.

From what I've heard from people who were at TGS, the PS3 runs quiet and cool.

i understand the cooling system is the main reason why the console is the size that it is!

Yah, I just heard pretty much the same, and the reason is because the 360 can't handle what Dead Rising pumps out. Dead pixels are common in all LCD displays just so you know, so you could have said in LCD..just defending the PSP. =]
