Hi All

Bit of an issue with my set up at moment, I have my PS3 and all my other AV equipment for that matter running through a HDMI cable to my AV receiver I also have a component cable from the PS3 straight into the back of the TV as an additional connection the reason for that is it allows me to play my PS3 in 1080i by passing the amp which could be used for playing music at the same time, if i want the sound from the PS3 i just change the settings back to hdmi and go back through the amp. The problem i have is i can not get any sound at all out of the TV when going down the component connection, the PS3 component lead i bought has 5 phonos 3 for the component and 2 for audio i have connected them all correctly but nothing any help would be appreciated thank you

you have to change the sound settings...it's straight after you choose your display settings.

sorted it what it was was my TV does not have a audio in only an audio out therefore the two audio leads i put in to a scart block and then shoved it in the scart connecter works fine now but thanks for your help
