LCD all the way. Plasma is shit and if you play too much with your console on it you will kill your tv.

Smithy, with a plasma you get a much clearer more colorful picture thats my opinion anyway, and its hard to disagree. But as you know its not as good for gaming for several reasons. One being burn in. LCD is also better with fast moving objects. But you really cant beat a plasma for Movies especially with the use of Blu ray, its amazing. So yeah i would get a plasma as well.

LCD is defiantly better. Plasma You can't go HD. On a plasma if you play or have it on for a while. Images will burn into your screen.

Will it's too late now I guess. Sorry if you got the Plasma.....

both are incredidble and when played in ful 1080p there isn't much telling apart. lcd is generally sharper than plasma though. but i think plasma is more reliable

i have a pioneer 43" plasma which is one of the better ones and after a few hours i do suffer from a little retention on the screen from the static images but its well manageable just put it on a snow untuned channel for 30mins after just to flush out any static images and no problem its not ideal but i had a sony bravia before 37" and the pioneer blows its socks off to be honest on games movies tv everything

Here are the Facts:

Plasma:

Suffers from burn in
Very bad glare issues
Short life
(Usually) Longer response times

LCD:

No Burn in
No Glare
Shorter Response time
Better color
Better Black
Bravia engine avalable only in LCD (Bravia is the best)
