Couple of Questions

hi,

I got a couple of questions to my new PS3.

1.) What games would anyone suggest to me. I've been playing Formula 1 and Motor storm (which were both included in the package) for 2 days now and I feel i need a change. I like sport games like tennis or soccer (football). What can anyone suggest?

2.) "this might sound lame "How can i make friends online? Do i need a Keyboard to chat? Or how does it work

3.) SIXAXIS. How do I activate this? I want to try it on one of the game but i can't find the option.

4.) I've read it in couple of threads already, but is it really true, no rumble at all??

Any help highly appreciated!!! THANKS!

1) Resistance for a quick fast action FPS or for something more substantial, check out Oblivion.

2) No you don't need a keyboard to make friends online. All you need is their ID (Mins is in sig if you wanna add me) Go to the friends section of the XMB and go to add a friend. Type in the ID exactly as it looks (it's case sensitive) and that person will be sent a friends request. You can chat using the Sixaxis or a keyboard if you prefer, or even voice chat using a headset (Bluetooth or USB, PS3 supports both). Just go to the person you wanna message and press triangle and select create message.

3) In the case of MotorStorm just pause the game and select the enable motion sensing option. For other games you'll have to check out the manuals. A lot of games have it enabled automatically. Resistance is one such game. If you really wanna give the motion sensors a workout, I suggest downloading either flOw or Super Rub 'a' Dub from the Store. Both of these games use Sixaxis to its full with no need to ever press a button at all.

4) Yes it's true there is no rumble, but do you really need it?

5) Welcome

To expand on what you just said I've just bought 300 on Blu-Ray from America because it's no out in the UK yet. It's region free and so works perfectly on my UK PS3. Not all US movies are region free, but a lot are. I'd suggest if you're considering getting movies from the US check this site out:
www.movietyme.com

There's a list of US Blu-Ray movies that work on UK PS3's. The prices are really good too, a lot less than we pay here in the UK.
