My girlfriend got me a 32 inch HDTV and 5.1 surround sound system for Christmas to go with my Playstation 3. How lucky am I? muahaha Anyway Call of Duty 4 looks good in 1080i. I haven't played it online yet and I heard they were having problems which sucks because everytime I get something theres a problem! Drakes Uncharted any good anyone?
can u hook up a pc screen to a ps3? i have a crapy old tv at the moment and about 4 pc screens lying around. is it possible to do that?
when i got mine i wanted to do that for the ps3 but there was no cables out for it at that itme think there might be some floating around now tho...i decided to get a 42 inch plasma lol
You can hook up a ps3 to a pc monitor. Hopefully you have one with a dvi input.. all you got to do is buy a hdmi to dvi cord but you won't get any sound out of it. So, you have to buy an hdmi audio spliter which is really expensive. By the time you do all this you can afford a small HDTV. There are 19 inch HDTV's that do 720p which is really clear for like 250 bucks nowadays. Just make sure the refersh rate is atleast 8ms and about all of them are nowadays. You can get 1080i with 8ms repsonse rate on a Polaroid HDTV for like under 600 dollars... and its 32 inches. But for gaming I wouldn't go over 32 inches. In the living room we have a 60 inch HDTV with 1080i and a good refresh rate although it doesnt look as clear as my 32 inch. When you get in a dark spot in the game it's to dark and you can see the pixels more because on a big tv it has to be stretched out where as a small tv you don't notice it as much. 26 inch or 32 inch looks best for gaming or 19 inch if you sit close to it. But I like 32 inch so I can sit back on the couch and play. Before I got this tv for xmas I had a lil 19 inch standard def and had to sit right up to the tv and still couldnt read it that great.
