ps3 region problem
i have a 240v NTSC/J ps3 in uk and i'm using the red,white,yellow composite connection to a sdtv, when i try to play a movie dvd of region 2 it will not play, and some other movie dvd's play but the picture is in black&white i am 99% sure my TV is NTSC compatible.
my display settings are as follows:
connection type: AV MULTI / SCART
on the next screen there are 2 check-boxes the top 1 says "standard PAL" which is ticked and greyed out and the 2nd one says 576p which makes the screen go blank when ticked.
and the format is normal 4:3
will only NTSC movies play on an NTSC console?
any ideas?
any ideas why?
