american ps3 in england
hi everyone. sorry to bother you and you have probably been asked this question 1000 times but i am going over to america in march on a school trip and am thinking of buying an american ps3, due to the amount of money i will save, apparently, ps3 games every where will work on it but could any one give me a list of the advantages disadvantages and will-it-work information, also, i am buying a hdtv so i think it will be ok to play american ps3 from?

Please help.

On a new TV it should be fine. However, the one disadvantage I can think of, is that it can't play PAL Blu Ray DVDs. But these can be imported easily and cheaply.

so the only bad thing about using an american ps3 in england is that i have to buy american dvds, blue ray,ps1 and ps2 games. Right?

Shouldn't make a difference, as long as it is NTSC compatible. (You can check this on the TVs specs sheet)
