Hey guys, according to this Sony are releasing a high definition free view box accessory for the PS3 sometime early this year. It will allow digital recording of TV to the PS3s inbuilt HDD, while watching something else at the same time if you want, 7 day program guide and rumored integration with Playstation store to offer premium content. I dont know if someones already posted about this before but i thought u guys would like to know.

I think its a great idea as long as the add on accessory doesn't cost too much.

That sounds amazing. Thus adding to the PS3 being an entertainment console. This is why I never went for Xbox.

wow thats a little steep considering free view boxes are like £30 these days, i know its no ordinary freeview box but still

I'm gonna buy this, it will worth £100 LOL, though I'm definately going to have to upgrade my crap 40g harddrive first and I'll wait until theres some HD channels available.
