hello ppl

im new tha the ps3 scene,but i get the drift from reading the forum that ALL ps3 games will play in th U.S ps3 but ps1 and ps2 will NOT play unless they are american ones,also the same with the blue ray dvds..so i get the basics,now for the stuff i dont quite get is,will i need a power convertor or not?? im pulled to the "i dont need one" side as i have read that they have sumfin on the board or somefin along them lines (i read about somwer but cant remember) that allows them to take the uk 240v power?? plz correct me if im wrong....also i have a new HD tv so i assume that the picture will be fine on it,also what way will playing online go about?? will i be able to play against other ps3 guys from the uk? as i read that i wont be able to connect to the uk severs?? i take it there is different servers for different countries? for ps3 users or what im lost about that bit sorry!! another question is i have manhunt 2 for the nintendo wii and its a top game im just wondering is it avaliable for the ps3 or is it just out on the ps2?? and what about this UFC game is it released or in the makeing or aload of pish???... sorry for all the questions guys but im new to the ps3 scene im a wii guy myself but have came ta release that the wii is alot of pish llf!! and the ps3 is the way forward lol any help is much appreciated cheers

I've got a Jap PS3 and the only thing I needed to get was a UK power lead and that was it.

I have no issue's playing online and I get all the firmware updates without any hassles.

Regarding your TV question, again I have no problems.

The only real troubles I have is my PS3 won't play PAL dvd's and PAL PS1/2 games, but to be fair that not really a major issue.
