I just got my HDMI cables and it works fine when am playing or watching a movie but when something starts up like a game the screen turns green and this static appers for a few seconds.I know its not the wires cause i have two and both do the same thing.
you might need to have the channel on HD or DVI when playing the ps3. anytime i go to use my playstation 3 i have to put it on DVI because my cable is dvi to hdmi (dvi in the tv and the hdmi end in the playstation) maybe that will help.
that is the same thing that happens to me sometimes when you select the game it goes to a statick screen for like 3 seconds and makes a popping sound. i think that it is because while it is loading the game in it loses the singnal for a second and then it comes back, if you know what i mean
