Ok guys I need serious help.. my PS3 was working perfectly fine yesterday, and today for some reason, it started acting strange. First off I noticed that my NCAA 08 demo wouldn't show up to install after finishing downloading. Then, my Kingdom Hearts simply froze 5 seconds after I clicked the disc icon to begin. So, naturally, I turn it off and on again. This time, something pops up saying "The hard disk's file system is corrupted and will be restored." So of course I'm really angry now, but I do it anyway. I click ok and it says restoring.. it finishes, same thing pops up! I do this 3 times, "The hard disk's file system is corrupted and will be restored." still pops up. Is my PS3/hard drive completely messed up? Please tell me what I need to do.

Haha. Oh I'm really not seeing the difference between the ps3 and xbox 360 in terms of it ****ing up.

Yeah well, do you know how to fix it? Or do I have to get a completely new hard drive?
And I didn't **** it up, it just happened out of nowhere. =P

Yeah fix it the old fashion way...go buy a new one.

Although now I have a reasonable excuse to buy a 360.. and I know you're gonna tell me not to probably because of all the problems and everything but I don't mind. Then again I could just get a new hard drive.. well thanks anyway, appreciate it.

I have a 360 permium...it had to be sent back, they get me a new one. I don't have a ps3...but I would say both systems have a equal amount of problems with hardware...yeah, you get a 360, or another ps3...doesn't mean it can't happen again..I'd go with the 360 though.

Also, yeah you could get a new harddrive, if you are completely happy with that ps3, and know you don't want a 360, or you can fix the hard drive, ands still get a 360.

Except my parents don't want to get me a 360, and definitely won't if I can actually fix my hard drive. I'm better off saying my PS3 is completely hopeless and just get a 360 and then miraculously fix my hard drive later lol. But, who knows. I'll see. I do want a 360 anyway, all of my friends have one.
