I tried to connect my ipod nano to my PS3, but nothing happened. It didn't freeze, and it didn't recognize my ipod. I wonder if you download itunes to the PS3, would you be able to use it then? Just a thought.

^You cant download itunes to the ps3. Thats just how ipods are, they only like to really work on apple stuff. I head you can make them work but not 100%

The ipod can be seen by the ps3 but the song/albums etc information will be patchy. The songs can be played though when you eventually find the one you want.

oh ya . just put the cd in, then go to the music icon (like next the the movies and game one at the top ) and it will show the cd. then go to "obtain cd information, it will show a few different names for the cd so just choose the right one. then after you obtain cd info go to import cd. depending on how long the cd is it will probably take around 5-10 minutes. you can have as many cd's as you want. but you cant listen to music during games and stuff. just when you on the XMB

If you really dont have anything else to amplify your iPod.. Hook it up to a set of computer speakers with a jack, some dont need power. If USB, buy a wall charger and wallah. Or if you're a tech junky like myself, just take the liberty of getting a snazzy HDMI setup and installing the Operating System[Other than the PS3 one] and install iTunes. Works wonders Sony. Works wonders.

Oh and if you choose to try this, make a partition, and make sure you have HDMI, that picture will not show up on the OS when you boot it up on just any other TV. Monitors that suppport HDCP look great, all you need is a cheap HDMI to DVI adapter, do research first..
