i have just recently purchased a headset. it works fine on COD4 but it doesnt work on FIFA 08 . do you know why this is ??
What type of headset is this? PS3 tends to favor bluetooth, because it has great quality. If its the dubbed one from SOCOM, its probably your game. Bluetooth is universal. And are you sure FIFA has voice chatting? I've heard rumors. Your best bet is to try a bluetooth. Not an expensive alt. either. Ebay has them for 5 bucks, no scam. Just the japanese guys that work there and make them lol. Motoralla h700 works great. Thats what I'm currently using.

i have the giotech one. i bought it from game for £35 so it should work on everything really. its worked once on FIFA but it doesnt work with my friend and hes got the same one.

Try unconnecting them from the PS3 and Sync them, If this doesnt conclude any results. Then just buy 2 from Ebay for you and your friend, should cost you like 10 bucks with free shipping. I got the motorolla H700 and it works with fair quality, cant beat it. Add me on PSN for COD4 or something and tell me how it goes.

Hi gang - Just purchased the PS3 after having been on the Xbox for waaay too long -
So my question is - do you have to purchase a headset specific for PS3 or can you use any Bluetooth headset - I currently have a Jawbone and wasn't sure if I could attempt a go with that one... Thanks!
