Better value - Includes wifi, bluetooth, rechargeable controllers, free online play for life, can use any generic bluetooth accessories the list goes on
More expandable - Can use any 2.5" sata HDD internally, so up to like 750gb of internal storage
Can have Linux on it if you want and use it as a full computer
More reliable - (ok they fixed the RROD on the 360 it but it should have been right from the start)
QUIETER - it is virtually silent 90% of the time and the other 10% it is only just audible if your playing games/music/video
No power brick!
Better controllers - dualshock 3 is the combination of a time tested design with discrete motion sensing and rumble, its the best combination
The PS3 is a more future proof machine, buy one now and you can expect it to last until 2012+, Sony have plans to keep it going for ages, and if the lifespan of the PS1/2 are anything to go by then the PS3 will be here to stay.
Ok and some other things, the whole look and feel of the interface is very well planned out it looks nice and is simple to use and responsive. The firmware updates do give really good new functionality, not just a bug fix or a little feature each big update adds something new, like remote play, BD-live, Divx compatibility and so on
