I purchased a PS3 for my son last X-mas, and we never registerd it online or anything. I recently purchased assassins creed for him and it will not play. I figured maybe it just needs to be updated so I get the stuff to connect it online when I go to register it tells me I have no internet connection. It tells me it cant find a IP address so I enter it manualy still no connection. I called the local cable co. no help there. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get this online? maybe I'm overlooking something. I'm 32 yrs. old and they have come along way since atari
I set mine up wired and did the easy set up. You didn't say what router or anything about which install you chose. It will practically set it's self up.
ps this was my first game player ..........40 yr old !
