i have the 20gb playstation 3 and want to play online in my room. But i have to use the ethernet cable of course because it is the 20gb version. One problem the ps3 is on the second floor and my computer with wired router is on the first floor. my mom does not want to get an ethernet cable long enought to be fed up the wall and in to my room, becuase she thinks that it will make a mess. so i need some other way to play online. So i heard about wireless gaming adapters that are plugged into the back of the ps3 via ethernet jack. and then wirelesly transmit to the wireless router. This would be ideal for me, what i would like to know is has anyone done this yet and does anyone know where to buy a wireless gaming adapter?

please help.

Well, I know when there was a computer on the 2nd floor of my house and everything else wired on the first floor my parents were the same way and didn't want to put it threw the wall or anything so basically we just bought a really long cable that went down to the first floor where everything was wired. I mean its not the best solution but it works. I don't know anything about the wireless so I can't answer that question but at least I put something out there for you so hopefully you can get to playing online as soon as possible

mine is at a wireless connection right now, it was easy to set up, took like 2 seconds to do the settings, and it was ready, although i have a 60 gb so i duno if it would be the same for the 20 gb
