ya i always wondered since i got the ps3 why the ps button on the controller did not glow red because in the ps3 ads you see it and it glows red I thought maybe myne was defected but then i went to a freinds house and his didnt either. so does that mean all of them dont and that the ads are just making it look cooler. I frankly dont give a crap about it, i just was wondering.

i think if the ps button was red it would be pretty cool but maybe a little annoying at times because at the buttom of your eye you would just see red....i dunno the system is fine the way it is.

According to early reviews, the PS Button was supposed to glow red whilst charging via USB cable.

I have just done a quick google search and there are loads of people who say that does not happen.

Who knows, maybe its an exclusive feature for the EU model, for having to wait so long

EDIT: PS3 owners, give your honest opinion on the controller...

SIXAXIS or DUALSHOCK?

I was playing Burnout 3 earlier on, and the pad was rumbling like mad and I thought to myself...'the PS3 wont have that'

Is it a problem for you?

Not too much since if your playing a game like burnout instead of rumble you will probobly control your self after you crash with the motion.....

Yea, but you could just do that by holding the R1 button and pressing up,down,left or right.

The motion of steering your wreck doesn't really sound that appealing.

Who knows though. I cant say anything until I've had hands on experience with the SIXAXIS.

i think call of duty went a little to far with the motion steering, they use it on driving, paddeling and so own, (paddeling is soo unnessecary, and driving can get pretty frustrating at times) the only thing that is cool is the melee attack.
