Better Not Be What I Think

I was just playing TR Underworld for 5 min and my PS3 just shut down. Now it won't start at all, can't even eject the disk. When I turn power on, 5 secs later it beeps a few times and turns off. Did my PS3 bite the dust after less than 1 year ????

Any advise, please I'll welcome it.
