How do you sign up to the Playstaion account if you live in the uk?
Anybody got any ideas? I know you after sign upto a us or jap account for now, but i don't know any addreses. Can someone please help me with this one.

well i would guess that you just state all of your information and hope it works. im confused did u say that u bought a imported ps3? does that make a difference? i signed up hetre in canda and it works fine

Yeah. Well i bought from a guy on ebay,and he imported it. I got it connected to the playstation store (i had to make the details up) you can't register here in the uk yet. Do you knoe the first thing i did? i downloaded Gran Turismo HD it's !!!FANTASTIC!!!! the only thing i can't do know is set up the remote play. I think it needs to be connected to the internet wirelesly, but im not sure.

download the motorstorm demo it is better then grand turismo one for sure. Then buy it. here in canada its coming out march 6 i dont know about you guys though.

Which ones coming out in canada on the 6th motorstorm or gran turismo? You can't officially buy games yet in the uk (but you can on ebay) I would have downloaded more demos but it took an age just to download gran turismo.

I can buy a copy of motorstorm off ebay for about £35 (i don't know what converts to in canadian dollars) also they are jap ones, but im not bothered about that.

ya here in canada the games retail for $69.99. which is a hell of a lot really. Ya i also dont know hoe that compares to your currency. But is 35 pounds over there a lot.

Well, when it's available in the shops over here, they say it's going to be about £40 so id sooner pay £35 instead of £40. And yes i live in rip-off britain! where everything is expensive.

lol, I dont mind waiting a couple of weeks after the game is released, and then just buying it used. But of course it comes with a warranty if it is messed up. I have been lucky with all the used games i have bought over the years they have all been in excellent condition. They usually sell them 10-15$ less than the original price, but i usually trade gamed in at the same time, so i save a lot of money. Im not sure if they have stores like that in Britain where you can buy and trade new and used games, here its called EB games or Electronic Boutique.

Yeah we got the Boutique. I can't see them being available second hand over here yet though. And when they are they will be snapped up has soon as they come in.

philleyboy, it is possible to sign up to the Playstation Network if you live in the UK, I've done it!

Yeah, but if you do it that way, you can't download games and things now! You have to tempory sign up using either a jap or us account. Ive down it that way for now. Then when it does comw available over here, all i'll do is change the us account to something else and sign up over here. Hope all that makes sense.
