Hey guys I got a quick question. Im bidding on a broken 60 gig ps3 on ebay and Im planning on sending it to sony to get it fixed. Does anyone know how much it costs. FYI It has the red light of death, I think. Also I have heard that the 60 gigs are troublesome. Is this true? Sorry if these are redundant questions for you guys but Im a noob to the ps3 scene haha. Thanks in advance.

urm its the 1st ive heard abt the 60gb's being troublesome. ive had mine since day 1 and its never let me down once. its common for some systems to be faulty it happens with all the companies (xbox 360 to be precise) i dont know how much it'll cost but if u ring up sony im sure they'll be more than happy to help

Actually I just wanted to know that , is there any way to allot more than 10Gb to other OS in Playstation 3.

No, cause there is no OS that is bigger than 10GB that the PS3 can use.
