What kind or mic should i get?

i would go with bluetooth just cuz the ps2's one dont sound as good, i have a scala 500 and its pretty sweet

Get a bluetooth headset, you'll love it. I have a Motorola headset and it works like a charm. USB headsets would work too but you'll be attached to the system which is not fun with a wireless controller.

resistance, and motorstorm support headsets i know that. so does carbon, and madden i think does. that might be it for now, but im not sure, and ya buy a blurtooth headset, i have a scala 500. it works great.

Can you also talk to people from your friends list, even if they are playing a different game?

Anyway, I am getting PS3 in just over an week along with motorstorm...I have a £20 argos voucher, so any of you know if these headsets support with PS3?

No, they'd have to exit out of their game before you can chat... or check messages for that matter. Anyhow, it looks like the PS3 supports most Motorola sets so you might want to go with that... or whatever your cellphone uses.

I wonder if they will change that in a firmware update? Talk to anyone, thats what the 360 does I think? Im not sure though, dont own one.

Yea, I think I will get a motorola headset to be "safe". Afterall, I do have a motorola phone! Also, the motorola headset has the same charger port as my phone...would make sense really!
