Memory Card

Is there other way to transfer data from my old PS2 8MB Memory Card to de PS3 HD other than to purchase the Memory Card converter?

Maybe USB hookup between both consoles? Sounds too good to be true

Thanks

Nope. Just buy the adapter, transfer all of your PS2 saves and then return the adapter. That's what I did. Since the adapter only copies your saves, you can't really use it to write back to your PS2 cards so there's no reason to keep it after that. Since the box isn't sealed, there's no way they would know you used it. Even if you did, this is a piece of hardware and not software so they probably wouldn't mind. Just make sure you buy it at Best Buy or Wal-Mart because those people are clueless. I think GameStop or EB employees might know of this so they could be more adversed to letting you return it.

Yeah thats why i didnt want to buy it in the first place, it is a "one time use" item not worth paying.

Thanks pal!

It's just too bad Sony couldn't have made their adapter more dynamic. I might've kept it if the thing does allow for saving onto the memory cards.

I didn't write that, but hell yeah. Only an idiot would buy the memory card adapter and keep it.
