PS3 users across the world are really getting behind the Folding@home program. Here are the stats as of 8am Eastern this morning:

Thats Playstation 3 machines producing over 251 trillion floating point operations per second, 100 trillion more than ten times the number of active PC CPUs.

Amazing stuff, what a great start to this very worthy cause.

I don't really understand the statistics, but I know that this is definately good for the Folding@home project.

I mean, there are still a lot of people who havent used it yet...when that starts *boom* even better results
