F.E.A.R. Release Dates Announced

Sierra Entertainment has today unveiled the release dates for its highly anticipated Playstation 3 title, F.E.A.R.

The game will hit stores shelves in North America on April 24th, with a UK/European release date slightly earlier on the 20th.

F.E.A.R. for PlayStation3 Features:

  • Stunning visual effects for an intense "action movie" experience.
  • Unpredictable encounters with combat adaptable A.I.
  • Multiplayer support for up to 16 players.
  • Instant Action Mode – New arcade style mode filled with close quarter's battles tracking player progress via leader boards for the PlayStation® Network for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system.
  • Exclusive PS3 level and weapon giving the gamer a unique experience solely for PS3 owners.

I read somewhere some time ago that the texture in the PS3 version of FEAR looked really bad, far worse than the 360 or PC version... I hope they fixed that problem.

Any news on whether it will support USB keyboard and mouse.

I dont mind using six axis, but its just a little awkward for me with the state of my fingers lol.

What i've highlighted in red is what the 360 version has allready, nothing new there but it's still fun to have.

I can't wait for this to be released. I have been getting into it for my 360 and hope the PS3 version can bring something new to me......i don't want EXACTLY the same game.

Your not wrong. I just picked it up today and it looks worse on the ps3 than it does on my high end pc. The frame rate is awful and its really buggy. I keep getting caught in between doors and having to restart the game.

Ill see how it goes and if no good, my browser is going to EBAY,
