PSN: Over 600,000 Registered Accounts And 3.7M Downloads

In a recent interview with gamepro.com, Sony's Susan Nourai, senior director of the PlayStation Network, admits that Sony has “only scratched the surface” with regard to its online service.

Quote:
“We plan to keep enhancing the things we're doing right, and will continue to evolve the service into something our PlayStation fans want. We've accomplished a lot in our four months with over 600,000 registered accounts and 3.7M downloads. It's a great start to a journey and a long-term relationship with our consumers and business partners.”
Nourai said, “Our goal is to have our PlayStation devices connected to all of our services in PSN to provide the user with a seamless PlayStation world they can access at anytime, from anywhere.”

I imagine that Home will give quite a big boost to the sign up rate.

...and I wonder how the PSP will interact with online?

Hmm...

Anyways, I recieved my James Bond Blu-Ray movie a couple days ago for signing up to the network! I HATE james bond lmao...still, I might have to watch this film...it's free, afterall!

Gamepro- "Are there plans to allow users to access Home from the PSP at some point in the future?"

Sony dude- "Our goal is to have our PlayStation devices connected to all of our services in PSN to provide the user with a seamless PlayStation world they can access at anytime, from anywhere"

I think we can safely say that's a 'yes'.... Can't wait!! [/color]

A certain amount of people got Casino Royake free... It was based on a first come first serve of creating a PSN name.
